Description

Caraway seeds have a pungent, anise like flavor and aroma that comes from the essential oils, mostly carvone and limomene. They are primarily used as a spice in breads, especially rye bread (Seeded rye bread is denser partly because the limonene from the caraway fruits has yeast-killing properties).

I am in Hawaii and getting anything is a challenge. I searched all over for Carroway Seeds and could not find anything fresh. Found Nuts in Bulk and received them in a timely way and they were fresh and right on schedule!!

Caraway Seeds were fresh and aromatic, packed in a zip lock bag. The price for one pound was excellent. I bought two pounds to offset the shipping cost since I bake a lot of bread. Have purchased from this company in the past and always will.

I use caraway seeds in a variety of recipes. Sometimes the seeds bought in local grocery stores are obviously not fresh. The ones from Nuts in Bulk have a lovely fragrance and taste delicious in breads and other recipes.

I recently purchased a 4 lb. bag of these seeds,and woo, imagine 4 lbs. I know I couldn't They got to me really quickly. When I opened the box...caraway goodness, but when I opened the bag (resealable)the aroma of fresh caraway blew me away. ( only smelled the old ? from a jar ) Love the smell. Worth every penny. I'll be back for more ingredients

The seeda arrived in great packing and the aroma was filling our truck when we picked it up. Extremely fresh and tasty! However being on the opposite side of the Country from you, the shipping cost is punishing. Wish you had a USPS parcel post selection as they eould likely be less expensive. Love your product but don't know if we can going forward, afford the unit cost.

In the past, I would seek out caraway seeds for my Irish Soda Bread recipe at every store imaginable but was unable to find other than the 2oz jar, for $5 or $6! Are you kidding me?. Nuts in Bulk is the answer! Great product, great size and reasonable price. My many recipients of my breads are happy too!

Wow! Who knew how much money could be saved by buying caraway seeds via the Internet. Our stores stopped selling them in bulk, so the tiny jars seemed the only option. Nuts in Bulk came to the rescue, so our jars now again are full and at drastically reduced cost. Thanks so much.

Purchased the caraway seeds because I love to make soda breads and purchasing the caraway seeds in the supermarket is quite an expense. A 3 oz container costs almost $5.00.
