Item tastes great, Thank you! Just to let you know, I placed my order on the 13th. Delivery was suppose to be the 18. This was a Christmas gift. I didn’t receive the item till the 28th 10 days later. I would stop using the USPS during peak or holiday time because of the gutting of service of the USPS.

My dad lives in California and I live in Texas and wanted to get him a special treat for his birthday. His absolute favorite treats are chocolate covered orange peels, so I searched the internet for a site with good reviews. I saw multiple reveiws detailing the freshness and quality of Superior Nut Company and orderd him two (1lb ) bags. My dad echoed the comments on freshness and was so excited that they used fresh orange peels! The package arrived on time and was packed so well that they did not melt in the California sun while waiting for him to bring them inside! Two parts: The orange peel, and the chocolate. The orange peel is sweet and the zest has been retained during the saturation of the sugar. I could eat those all day every day. Even now, daily, I bite off the chocolate, allowing it to melt, and then with little left, bite into the core peel and enjoy this delight.
The chocolate chosen is a standard dark, fortunately not overly sugared so as not to offset the taste of the peel. While I prefer a less waxy (cocoa-buttery) chocolate, this is more than okay. Frustratingly, this is not an amazing chocolate coating, and thus I'm more sad and wondering where I can find the best. However, I'd say this is superior.

I absolutely love dark chocolate orange peels. I received some as a Christmas gift from a friend in Europe and they were to die for. I noticed my husband was snacking on them, how dare he! So, I went on line to find something comparable. I placed an order from Superior for the dark chocolate orange peels and they are almost gone! Chocolate dipped orange peels aren't easy to find and they're usually prohibitively expensive. Yours are priced right! Both the dark chocolate and the orange peels are terrific and I'm enjoying them very much! Trying not to overdo it but they're pretty much irresistible.
