A gift for my husband and he said Ã¢Â€Âœ donÃ¢Â€Â™t bother ever buying any other cashews! If we canÃ¢Â€Â™t get these, not worth getting cashewsÃ¢Â€Â. Quite an endorsement from someone who loves cashews!

Great! But size-wise?

I recall a year or so ago when I was walking into Walgreens, they had this small container that was read "Colossal Cashews." I was hooked to these because of 2 reasons: 1) the taste and 2) the size. I learned about how cashews were processed from the trees, but the nutty part of the cashew fruit sure did look large. So, I figured there has to be some cashews that are larger than normal. It's like I want to take a bite out of a giant fruit in Wonka Land. The thing is, when I ordered these cashews in the tins, I was impressed how fresh these were. The flavor was on point. Don't get me wrong, it's perfect in many ways except I was hoping that the "giant" wording would match up to the "colossal" imagination. But not so much. I've probably only popped in one cashew that barely met the size of those colossal cashews I got from Walgreens. They don't even sell these anymore! :-( So, I'm only giving it 4 out of 5 stars because I sincerely thought those would be huge as other customers would say. I'm bummed, but I'm glad I tried these. I would definitely buy from them again, but to be truthful, Costco has the same size cashews of 2.5 pounds in bulk for $18.99. But to be fair, Superior Nut Company is the true nut artist, and if you really want "quality" cashews, these guys are for you. If you want cheap "good enough for me" cashews, try Costco. I only eat those just to meet my "cashew" needs. ;-) I would try another product here, but certainly for now, I'm trying to find the colossal cashew dream.
