My husband is dairy intolerant and I got fed up with plastic packaging and began making my own cashew yogurt. These cashews are excellent and more affordable than the bulk bin at the grocery store. (Plus Covid closed the bulk bin!)I’ve added coconut cashew ice cream to the things I make myself now. Recipe is on Minimalist Baker website if you want to try for yourself!

During the COVID shut down, I have avoided going in grocery stores, so buying nuts in bulk must be done via online orders. Being vegan, I used cashews to make milk, cheese, and cream, so I was pleased to find a good price and a quality product that arrived in a timely manner. I read reviews of other cashews on Amazon and found others had bugs in the bag--ugh. Having ordered dates from Nuts in Bulk in the past, I decided to give them a try for their namesake. Even when I feel comfortable going into to stores again, I will continue to order from Nuts in Bulk for cashews, almonds, walnuts, and pecans.

I've been making my own vegan cashew yogurt. When COVID-19 hit the bulk aisles shut down and I didn't want to lose my probiotic starter. Good quality. Good price.

  • These are about 40 cents to a dollar less than the broken cashew bits in the bulk aisle, depending on which store I go to.

I purchase these often They are great for a low carb snack. They taste good and I've not had a problem with them, I usually get the 4 pound bag. They freeze well. While the whole nuts are good, the price for the pieces is a good value.

Good flavor though the Cashews are a bit soft. I am mixing them with raw pistachios and slivered Almonds. After mixing a small batch, I am going to roast the Cashews and see if that doesn't help some.
