Usually pistachios are in the shell, and it takes patience and perseverance to eat them. THESE are easy, and amazingly fresh and tasty!! For cooking, especially, they can't be beat.... or for eating just out of hand. I like mixing them with the dark chocolate covered pistachios, and making a very special, decadent nut bowl for munchies when friends - or just me - want a treat. The freshest I've ever come across. You will not be sorry ordering these!! I'm so glad I found Nuts in Bulk.... my new go-to place for #1 quality nuts.

The nuts have good flavor and the right moisture content. What they do not have is enough salt to suit me. I started with popcorn salt and with a morte and pestle, ground it much finer.. Then, so the salt would stick well, i sprayed the nuts in a large bowl with Crisco canola oil and sprinkled on more salt. Great results.

I gave these pistachios a 4 - have ordered 3 different times now - and the freshness ranged from excellent to fair to good... it may depend on the growing season. they are shelled, so they will lose a little in that process - but for a pistachio lover with weak fingernails - these are a great choice

Arrived on time, ten pounds, immediately edible, exactly as advertised. This is the second time I have ordered a 10-pound bag of pistachios. This seller is reliable.

  • Pistachios are good for your health. Read the medical literature, especially a recent article on research in Turkey. These nuts are good quality. I've suggested that my friend should get his nuts here, rather than from the nearby club-discount store.
Cons
  • There's a small amount of dust from the skin of the nutmeats and/or the shells. It simply means I should shake them or blow them before serving to others.

Received these within four business days and loved them. I like the unsalted pistachios so I can grind them a bit and add to chicken salad or sprinkle over a lettuce salad with cooked chicken. They are a healthy snack alone or added to our 'home made' trail mix.

I actually received a salted version of pistachios when I thought I had ordered raw, unsalted. Since I failed to verify the order confirmation, I have to accept some blame. Still the company was very responsive to my contact to adjust the order. What I did receive was very tasty and a nice size so I decided to keep them. I also ordered cashews which were very large and delicious.

The pistachio meats are very, very tasty. They arrived sealed in 4 lb. bags. After we received them we opened and resealed in 1lb. bags and put in the freezer. Then we can take out just the amount we need. This is the best price I could find for roasted, unsalted, shelled pistachios. Shipping was quick. We sprinkle them in salads. Healthy for you too!
